Antequra and Granada, Spain

From Chiclana we drove to Malaga which is in the most southern part of Spain. B served in the Malaga, Spain mission, but never did serve, or even spend much time there. It is a tourist location for many cruise lines. From Malaga we drove to Granada(one of B's areas), but on the way we stopped to drop off some american candy to our friend Elder Eric Sims from our old ward. Elder Sims is serving in Antequra, which is an hour from Malaga, and an hour toward Granada (it was on our way). We left Cinnamon bears, starburst, Big Red gum, and Sourpatch kids with him. We visited with him for a minute and then were on our way to Granada.

Granada, Spain
Granada is so beautiful. It has the most wonderful atmosphere, the streets are really narrow with cobblestone bricks with tall buildings on both sides. It was fascinating to see where the gypsies live, and what they look like. The picture of the hillside with doors built right into the mountain are the gypsi homes.
Granada is known for the Alambra castle which is where the last Morish crusade happened. When we got there around 2pm to buy tickets inside they were "sold out". Gotta love the European lifestyle where customers are not their first priority (not necessarily a bad thing). So we were only able to walk around the grounds... which were amazing.
